A poem without words

Lily loves to draw.  She spends hours each day drawing and coloring and otherwise arts & craft-ing.  Being the inordinately proud mama that I am, I always think her drawings are brilliant.

Such as her picture of Tinkerbell.  I thought it was pretty dang brilliant for a three-year-old.

Or her picture of a garden.  Lily does exceptional pictures of gardens, in my opinion.

Then last week I bough Lily some paints, brushes and special art paper and canvas.  Now, she's always had those cheap water colors and brushes to paint with, but these were "grown-up paints", as Lily called them.  Now her hour of art in the morning has grown into two.  And arts & crafts in the afternoon has been taken over by painting.  I love all her pictures, but don't worry, I won't bore you by sharing all of them with you.  Just a few of my favorites.

Like her tulip in a meadow...

And her colorful rainbow...

And her garden of daisies.

Yes, I know, you are overcome by her talent.  What can I say?  I've got a rather exceptional child.

I am really amazed! Clara just barely started drawing things with legs, arms and faces. And that butterfly. Wow.

Is it just me or do Tinkerbell's 13 fingers make you laugh?? :)
